Healthy green tea as seen on Japanese TV.

1. Enhance the immune strength
2. Suppress the absorption of fat

If you pour hot water onto the tea leaves, the taste of the components of green tea come out theanine amino acid ”umami” followed by the astringent and bitterness components of catechin.

It is said that the mortality rate of people who drink 5 or more cups of green tea a day is 13% less with men and 17% less with women. This is due to an anti-oxidant action and the anti-cancer effect of catechin.

When made at a low temperature (iced green tea) the theanine comes out, but the bitterness component catechin doesn’t. Enjoy the delicious sweet “umami” taste of iced green tea. At low temperature the caffeine also doesn’t come out making iced green tea, an ideal drink anytime of the day.
Without catechin, green tea is still a healthy drink due to a component called “Epigallocatechin”. This component of catechin helps build our immune strength.
This tea should only be made by using ice water.
